Well, it has been some time since ive updated this thing, but im working on getting new photos up. Im also working on my website so i dont have to go thru a medium that limits picture size. you can check out the home page @ [link]. School is in right now so i may not be able to really get into coding it until this summer. Got some friends to do some graphics and its lookin good so far.

School is great this sem. Lovin the upper level art history. Studio art is the same

Also i got into the Spring 09 show for the UNT Sculpture Collective. Im really excited about my first gallery showing.

i got a new camera for christmas, i will start to post more work now. hang tight and i will have a great body on here soon.

A dream i had today:

Walking up a flight of rock like stairs too small for my big feet and got to a giant overlooking platform. To my right was a quartet or old men playing jazz with steady eighth notes. (from left to right) trumpet, keys, flute, sax. in front of them was a table with people standing in front of it watching. i look to my right and walk over to an outcropping. A guitar is perched up on the ledge leaning over to add direction. to the left is a s tool and a viewer that you put coins into to see further into the distance. I look out over the railing and see an amazing landscape. GOD it was beautiful. the grass sloped down into a path and out in the distance was a totem pole with some kind of ritual circle surrounding it. In the time of me looking i look to my left and a Hispanic male with all black clothes and a hoodie pulled over his face nods to me saying "beautiful view". as i look out past him i see tall formations of sandstone rock layered as far up as i can see. below them is the most richest blue you can think of. crystal clear blue water edging the bottom of this rock. for about 1 mile this rocks formation lasted as did the blue and it ended. to the right was the edge of the earth. a gray abyss fell off the edge and the sky was gray also. The edge of the earth was a cookie-cutter snowflake pattern bordering the edge. i couldn't see the view very good as it was to much for my eyes to handle. A cloudy haze was over the landscape. A call enters my cell phone: Its Paul Ray. He's telling me that he is with his wife and he just got another fine. What kind of fine i don't know. He asked me about life and i woke up by saying "amazing" out loud in my room as i opened my eyes.

I drew as much as i could but its hard for me to even put into perspective so that others will understand. even i cant get the right visual perspective as i would like.


PS. Denton is an amazing place.

Im finishing up my associates degree and i graduate May 10th. Finally i finish this damn degree. Only 3 more years until my bachelors. It feels so good to accomplish something higher in educational purposes. Heading to UNT in the fall for my BFA.

So heres to a great time at EFC. Hoorah!
